Dangerous Raider of the Sea

Vikings are battle-hardened warriors and sailors who ply the seas of the Northlands for glory and plunder. As followers of the Reaver’s Way, they have their own sense of honor, yet they can be merciless in times of raiding and war. Vikings are known for their prowess with the spear and axe, and for their belief that they can earn a special place in the halls of the dead through their deeds of valor in battle.

Level 3: Seaborne

You are used to being aboard rocking ships and other vehicles. You have Advantage on all Strength and Dexterity saving throws and checks to avoid being pushed, having the Prone condition, or otherwise being moved against your will.

In addition, you have Advantage on checks to pilot or otherwise control a waterborne vehicle, such as a canoe or longboat.

Level 3: Viking Weapon Mastery

If you have Weapon Mastery with a Battleaxe, Longsword, or Spear, once on each of your turns, you can add your Proficiency Bonus to a damage roll with that weapon.

Level 7: Savage Charge

As an Attack action, you can move up to your Speed and make a single melee attack. If this attack hits, you can use a Bonus Action to take the Dash action. With the movement from this Dash action, you can pass through the space of the target and do not provoke Opportunity Attacks.

Level 10: Call of the Northlands

You are used to facing the harsh conditions and vicious monsters of the Northlands. At the end of a long rest, you may choose one of these benefits. The one you choose replaces your choice from the previous day.

Dragonslayer. You have Advantage on attack rolls you make against Dragons, such as red dragons and wyverns.

Hardy Swimmer. You have a Swim Speed equal to your Speed.

Inured to Cold. You have Resistance to Cold damage.

Trollslayer. You have Advantage on attack rolls you make against Giants, such as frost giants and trolls.

Level 15: Marauder’s Reprisal

When you become Bloodied or if a creature scores a Critical Hit against you, you can use your Reaction to make an attack against an enemy within your reach, if there is one. If the attack hits, you score a Critical Hit, and you gain a number of Temporary Hit Points equal to half your level.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus, and you regain all uses once you’ve finished a Long Rest.

Level 18: Unstoppable Assault

As an action, you spin your weapon in a furious arc, decimating all creatures before you. You can attack a number of times equal to half your Proficiency Bonus in addition to your normal attacks. If any of these attacks hit, they are Critical Hits, and a creature struck by the attack must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Strength modifier) or be pushed 10 feet away from you.

Once you have used this feature, you cannot use it again until after you’ve finished a Long Rest.
